{"id":2151,"date":"2023-07-12T11:09:03","date_gmt":"2023-07-12T11:09:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xamaxinduststg.wpengine.com\/warehouse-and-shipping\/"},"modified":"2024-09-12T20:56:43","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T20:56:43","slug":"warehouse-and-shipping","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/xamax.com\/zh-hans\/warehouse-and-shipping\/","title":{"rendered":"Warehouse And Shipping Supervisor"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Warehouse And Shipping Supervisor<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor is responsible for receiving supplier material, packaging and shipping products, overseeing the Starship System Backup, supervising inventory and resolving common warehouse and shipping issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research, negotiate, arrange freight including inbound and outbound trucking and shipping&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Oversees cycle count of assigned inventory from Purchasing Manager<\/li>\n<li>Manges packaging inventory and communicates status and buying needs to Purchasing Manager<\/li>\n<li>Manages Blanket Order, Make\/Hold Orders, Min\/Max Inventory<\/li>\n<li>FIFO all inventory unless accounting process changes<\/li>\n<li>Follows shipping and receiving procedures<\/li>\n<li>Understands and follows printed work instructions<\/li>\n<li>Verifies material is packed correctly and securely to avoid shipping damage<\/li>\n<li>Operates and maintains forklifts<\/li>\n<li>Loads and unloads raw material and finished goods<\/li>\n<li>Accurately records incoming and outgoing quantities in the correct unit of measurements&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Allocates raw materials and returns converted products to warehouse<\/li>\n<li>Keeps warehouse and packing areas clean and organized<\/li>\n<li>Follows safety instructions while using warehouse equipment<\/li>\n<li>Recognizes and reports equipment problems to Maintenance Department&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Suggests and helps implement changes to ensure inventory accuracy and product integrity<\/li>\n<li>Verifies material identity and quality<\/li>\n<li>Accurately records quality measurements and working time as required<\/li>\n<li>Packages products per written instructions<\/li>\n<li>Keeps work area clean and organized<\/li>\n<li>Works with fellow team members to maintain machine up time and productivity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Consults with:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plant Manager<\/li>\n<li>Purchasing Manager<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling and Production Manager<\/li>\n<li>Shift Supervisors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School or equivalent education<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to operate forklift vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to effectively communicate procedures, set up and running instructions to team memeber, must read, write and understand English work orders and work instructions<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to use and read measuring tools such as rulers, calipers &amp; weighing scales<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to lift 70 lbs unassisted<\/li>\n<li>This position is based in Seymour CT, candidates must be within commuting distance&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Warehouse And Shipping Supervisor Description: Warehous [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":29,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-2151","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
