FloLam® Series
Thermoplastic Laminates for CFRTP Systems & Sandwich Panels.

Patented under US 9,199,440 B2 & US 9,138,974 B2. The FloLam®, FloLam® PR, and FloLam® PR+ series are engineered surface laminates that deliver a smooth, durable finish over continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP). These layers provide not only cosmetic enhancements but also functional benefits, including:

● UV protection up to 15,000 hours (ASTM-G155 tested)

Surface Options
Our surface options include different product finishes and gloss levels. FloLam® is available with embossed or smooth textures and comes in matte or satin finishes without a release film. FloLam®PR offers a smooth finish in matte or glossy options and includes a release film. FloLam®PR+ features a smooth finish, also available in matte or glossy, and comes with a release film.

FloVeil® PNR Surfacing Film
Permanent PET Film for PP-Based Composite Protection.

FloVeil® PNR is a matte white PET surfacing film engineered to bond to polypropylene- based CFRTP substrates and honeycomb sandwich panels permanently. Unlike surface coatings or adhesive films, FloVeil® PNR forms a destructible covalent bond during the lamination process—creating a seamless, protective surface layer that cannot be removed or delaminated.

● Improves surface appearance by hiding voids and print-through
● Provides UV resistance >15,000 hours, ideal for outdoor exposure
● Protects against staining, weathering, and cosmetic degradation
● Available in multiple thicknesses (1.9 mil to 4.0 mil)

1. What’s the difference between FloLam®, PR, and PR+?
FloLam® is the base film for protection. PR adds a release layer and a better finish. PR+ gives a premium matte or gloss look, ideal for Class “A” surfaces.

2. How does FloVeil® PNR bond to polypropylene?
It utilizes a surface treatment that chemically bonds during lamination under heat and pressure, ensuring a strong and lasting adhesion.
