  1. Xamax Industries Hires Linda Edwards for Business Development Sales

    Xamax Industries, a leading supplier of advanced material solutions for thermoplastic and thermoset composites, wire & cable, and specialty interleaving applications, is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda M. Edwards as Business Development Leader.

    With more than 15 years of experience in business development, key account management, and global market expansion, Edwards brings proven expertise in driving adoption of high-performance materials across multiple industries. Her career spans leadership roles in specialty additives, flame-retardant polymers, compounding, and composites—making her uniquely positioned to accelerate Xamax’s growth strategy.

    Most recently, Edwards served as Senior Business Development Manager at Avient Corporation, where she developed and executed strategies to launch new non-halogenated flame-retardant masterbatch products for polyolefins. She successfully identified and engaged top OEMs across building & construction, automotive (EV), appliance, and specialty markets. Prior to Avient, Edwards held senior roles at PMC Polymer Products, Adhesives Research, and Maroon Group, where she consistently delivered revenue growth, expanded into new markets, and led the commercialization of innovative materials.

    Edwards’ background reflects a career-long focus on developing multilevel customer relationships, advancing international sales strategies, and introducing technically complex products into new applications. Her experience includes successfully driving adoption of fire-retardant composites, adhesives, and specialty materials across electronics, consumer products, alternative energy, and building materials markets.

    Edwards earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Cleveland State University and has remained actively engaged in her community, including volunteer service with Hospice of the Western Reserve.

With a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development across the automotive, aftermarket, and manufacturing sectors, Paul brings proven expertise in driving growth and delivering customer-focused solutions.

    At Xamax, Paul is responsible for leading the Wire & Cable segment while also spearheading sales automation initiatives to strengthen efficiency, responsiveness, and long-term growth. His extensive experience with manufacturers, distributors, and engineering teams will play a key role in enhancing customer partnerships and expanding Xamax’s market reach.

    Paul holds a BBA in Marketing and Management from Northwood University and has led sales growth initiatives for leading companies including Amphenol TPC Wire and Cable, KYB America, and Maremont Corporation.
